Keep Growing

“You grew by how much last year?!”

I asked a client during our first meeting together.

…long pause…

“Negative 2%. We…um…shrank by 2%.”

“What was your goal for the year?”

…longer pause…

“We didn’t really have one…I mean we wanted to grow, but we didn’t have a plan in place.”

***Now, I Was Speechless****

But not surprised.

“Ok. Well, that changes today.”

Let’s get real for a second. If you’re not growing, then you’re in serious trouble.

NOT because I say so, but because every economic, cultural, and technological prediction says that there are bigger changes than ever happening within the next 10 years.

Let me break this down for you.

Huge change = huge opportunity. BUT ONLY for the businesses who are nimble, have momentum, and are big enough to be able to invest in the future.

It’s like driving, you have to power into the curve. When changes are coming, you have the be the leader of the pack, unafraid, with the momentum and power to push through the changes.
These are the business owners who earn respect. These are the business owners who get massive followers. These are the ones who become legends.

None of that would become possible without the disruptive changes of innovation and cultural evolution.

And for every one business owner who kills it, there are 10+ who were too small, too self-limited, too scared, and too slow to make it happen.

I know that might seem daunting but think of all of the business owners who aren’t as good, as committed, or as motivated as you.

Now all you have to do is drive the habit of working within a strategic action plan so you can guarantee your success. Big Changes are coming…What are you going to do to get ready?

P.S. I believe in you. You wouldn’t be reading until the end of this unless you were serious about making your business a success.

P.P.S. If you want to run your strategic goals by me, leave them in the comments or hit me up on messenger. No pressure or obligation for anything - I’d be happy to look at what you're doing because I want more people like us at the finish line.
